The National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) offers complimentary genealogical research tools to help trace your ancestry. With expert knowledge, a robust database, and an extensive library of historical documentation…discovering your lineage is just a few clicks away.

Our Plymouth Chapter, NSDAR, registrar will gladly connect with you to begin the research, or, research on your own at DAR.org.

Any woman 18 years or older who can prove lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence is eligible to join the DAR. She must provide documentation for each statement of birth, marriage and death, as well as of the Revolutionary War service of her Patriot ancestor.

The Plymouth Chapter, NSDAR, represents the East Central Wisconsin area including Sheboygan, Ozaukee, and Manitowoc counties. However, we are open to all existing and prospective members.

The Plymouth Chapter of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education.

DAR members support a variety of projects which include preserving genealogical records, restoring and maintaining historical sites, and preserving the cemeteries of American Patriots.

Educational Projects

DAR members are passionate about supporting educational initiatives locally and nationwide. We have a history of establishing schools for the underserved in our country and continue to fund DAR schools, essay contests, scholarships, and awards.
