“Wisconsin Daughters are creative and thoughtful in how we serve. ”
Wisconsin State Society
Today, the WSDAR is a vibrant organization with over 1500 members in thirty-two Wisconsin chapters. We embrace the mission of the society with open arms, focusing on historic preservation, education, and patriotism.
How we serve
Chapters and their members have worked on service projects in conservation, marking of historic sites and graves, and in engaging teachers and students to enjoy the richness of American history. We engage in literacy promotion, Junior American Citizens clubs, Good Citizen designations for high school seniors, scholarship opportunities, the celebration of Constitution Week and much, much more.
We honor our veterans through community service projects and support of Wisconsin’s veterans homes.
We also seek out projects to restore buildings and cemeteries which are significant in Wisconsin’s history such as the Fort Winnebago Surgeons Quarters which is owned by the WSDAR.
