Happy Birthday America! In July 2026, the United States will mark its 250th anniversary – and the Plymouth Chapter, NSDAR, is preparing to celebrate in a glorious way! Join us as we commemorate the semiquincentennial of the Declaration of Independence with an exhibition, partnerships, educational programs, and celebrations.
Additionally, the National Society has established the America 250! Committee to plan DAR’s involvement during our nation’s upcoming 250th birthday. DAR chapters will work to leave a lasting impact on their communities through meaningful local projects and events during this anniversary.
The Plymouth Chapter traveling America 250! Exhibit will be on display at Cedar Grove Library.

The exhibit features an America 250! Celebration birthday cake, a Sheboygan County story portfolio of Revolutionary War Patriot descendants who shaped settlement in Sheboygan County, and an acclaimed Celebrate America 250! activity and coloring book, free for Cedar Grove Library visitors.

Open to all ages! Free event! Come join the fun and listen to stories, sing songs, and play one-room schoolhouse recess games with the Plymouth Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in celebration of America’s 250th birthday. Participants receive a free America 250! Activity Book.
